Shap10r How To Play

Shap10r is an exciting and challenging game that blends the best features of Wordle™ and Mastermind®! Solve the puzzle using a combination of logic, deduction, and a bit of luck.

The game features 24 distinct shape-color combinations called Shaplors, and your objective is to figure out the answer key by selecting five Shaplors from the grid. Begin by identifying Shaplors that are correctly positioned.

Shaplors with a green outline are in the correct position. Shaplors with a yellow outline are part of the answer but are in the wrong position.

Use the Shaplors’ values to narrow down your choices and refine your guesses. Keep track of the Shaplors you’ve already used to avoid repeating them. Apply the process of elimination to rule out incorrect options.

When starting a new game, five Shaplors are chosen at random to form the answer key.

Players have 10 attempts to deduce the correct answer key.

Each Shaplor’s value is calculated by adding together its shape value and color value.

The values of the Shaplors in the answer key are totaled. In Normal Mode, the Shaplors are also arranged in ascending order of value, from lowest to highest. In Hard Mode, there is no such sorting.

There are 3 shapes and 8 colors that combine to create the 24 Shaplors. In Normal Mode, the shapes are randomly assigned values that are multiples of 10 between 10 and 100. The 8 colors are randomly assigned values of 1 through 8.

A Shaplor’s value is the sum of its shape value and color value. For instance, if the square’s shape value is 100 and the blue color value is 5, then the value of the blue square Shaplor is 100 + 5 = 105.

You score points for each Shaplor correctly placed in the answer key, with higher rows earning more points. Additionally, you receive a bonus for successfully guessing the entire answer key.
